T's Textbooks

As soon as your booklist comes out, since we operate on a first-come first serve-basis. Early orders give us time to secure stock from our suppliers and/or procure second-hand textbooks. We’ll always work intensively to supply your books as soon as possible, but if you leave your order to the last minute, most second-hand stock will probably be unavailable, and it can take 7-14 days to source new stock from our suppliers.

If your booklist is available online via our website, we strongly recommend this method. Simply select your school and year, and follow the prompts to place your order. If your booklist isn’t on our website, you may attempt to find the books on our online catalogue and order individually, but please feel free to email or fax us your booklist, clearly marking which books you require. We’re also able to take orders over the phone but lines are very busy during our peak periods, so this would be a last option.

You will receive an automated confirmation email once you place your order. If you didn’t receive one of these, then your order has not been successfully lodged with us. Please follow the prompts to confirm and complete your order.

Please bear in mind that during peak periods your order may take longer to process and receive. Once we reach your order, we pick it, process it, and contact you with an update.

This will depend on when you place your order, the time of the year, how quickly you need the book, how many people are already on the waitlist and how likely we are to see this particular book. Given our experience we will decide and inform you of waitlist possibilities.

If your order hasn’t been dispatched, changes are welcome but we encourage you to get in touch with us ASAP. Please either give us a call or send us an email with the changes you’d like to make and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Payment is processed once your order is complete, ready for collection, ready to be dispatched, or after you’ve brought in any books you’d like to trade in. You may notice multiple transactions on your card totalling your order, pursuant to item availability.

Yes, we will ship the order straight away via Australia Post eParcel Express, next business day delivery in the Sydney metropolitan area. Please let us know if you are going away and do not want your books delivered during a given period, so we can arrange shipping at a more convenient time.

No, subject to your consent that the parcel be left without a signature at the nominated address. If no authority to leave the parcel is given and no-one is present to sign for it, Australia Post will leave a calling card inviting you to collect the parcel from your local post office.

Please don’t order anything until you know which level maths your child is doing.

If it is during the back to school season we will hold your order until it’s complete and school starts, outside of the back to school period, we will hold you order for 48 hours unless other arrangements have been made.

No, we don’t keep our stock levels online. We take pre-orders and often have a waitlist,therefore we can’t guarantee a second-hand item nor can we confirm when you order a new item online, that’s it’s in stock. We will contact you after you place your online order, reserve whatever is currently in stock and give you an ETA on the remainder of your order.

Yes, we stock school related DVD’s. We don’t stock stationery. Officeworks is located one street parallel to us in O’Riordan Street.

This book will have been compared and will have the same page number for page number, word for word. Publishers often reprint the book in a different size or with a different cover, but ultimately it’s the same book. We will always advise you if the page numbers are different and let you make the decision if you’d still like the book.

Yes, we have a very small selection of primary school resources; please feel free to contact us and let us know your requirements.

We only buy current edition, good condition high school textbooks, without writing or highlighting that include the CD/eCode where applicable.

Please email us a list on the Contact Us page, including Title, Author, Edition and ISBN if known (13 digit barcode number usually starting with 978) and we’ll let you know what we are interested in viewing.

Yes, we pay a lower amount for cash or you can choose to take a higher amount as store credit. We pay a percentage of the recommended retail price depending on the book, condition and our requirements.

The credit will last the life of our business.

During peak periods it can take longer to reply to phone messages, sometimes up to 3 days, the best form of contact during these periods is always email or fax, failing that please do trying calling again just in case your message has been lost in cyberspace.

We have 3 car spaces directly in front of our warehouse and the use of the 2 car spaces opposite us for most of January. All other car spaces in our complex are privately owned, so as a courtesy to our neighbours, please refrain from parking there.

Our address is 13/77-79 Bourke Road Alexandria NSW 2015. The closest crossroad is Gardeners Road; we are opposite Bunnings about 100m closer to the city in the back of a warehouse development.
